24 August 2005

Morrissey will begin recording a new album next week in Rome with producer Jeff Saltzman.

The musicians recording with Morrissey are: Jesse Tobias, Alain Whyte, Boz Boorer, Gary Day, Mikey Farrell and Matt Chamberlain. Matt replaces Deano Butterworth who has decided to stay with Good Charlotte. Morrissey and the band are sad to see Deano go, and wish him well.

Morrissey is considering offers to play in Turkey, Greece and Italy for November, as well as New Zealand and Australia in December. There is also a concert planned in Mexico City for New Year's Eve.

Morrissey's new album will be released on Attack.
